Over recent years, the Custom Works team have been developing a range of heavy-duty Aluminium boat trailers to suit the tough Northern Australian conditions. Our trailers are designed in house and can be fully customised to suit your needs. They are manufactured in Darwin using quality materials and electrical components and have built a reputation for strength and reliability.

Properly supporting your hull during transport is integral to your boats longevity. The ‘drive on’ design has proven to work in all launch and retrieve conditions.

Drawing from over 32 years’ worth of understanding and experience in the Marine and Road Transport industries the trailers are a quality and durable product.

• Flange bolted chassis components using proven lock washers.
• Flexible mud guard material to withstand vibrations.
• Apart from the skid heights, nothing else is adjustable (or can vibrate loose).
• We mill aluminium I beams to our engineering specifications to achieve superior strength and flexibility.
• We use quality products including alloy wheels, light truck tyres, Alko brake away system and Hella submersible lights.

• For boats ranging from 5m to 6.1m we use a 140mm I Beam with an Australian made Torsion Axle Suspension System.
• For boats ranging from 6.2m to 7.6m we use a 190mm I Beam and either a Torsion Axle or Silent Ride Suspension System.
• Our trailers come standard with all stainless-steel fixings and Custom Works unique anti rattle system so that your callipers can’t come off, no matter how rough the road.
